Start:
The Head Start Program is a federal and state funded preschool program for
children from low-income families. Children are provided with a learning
environment and the varied experiences that will help them develop socially,
intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age
and stage of development. The program goal is to allow the child and the
parents to participate in a variety of educational activities, which help them
